Genesis III

Genesis III encompasses children ages 18 months to 2 years of age.  The characteristics this age group possess is astonishingly cute.  They get frustrated, angry, sad, etc. just like adults, but they cannot express their feelings like adults can.  They have very limited vocabulary so they need help to communicate and to problem solve.

Toddlers are always on the go! With this in mind, our daily schedule changes about every 10-15 minutes.  We plan rotations within our class centers in motor, manipulative, dramatic plan, blocks, and sensory play.  Our daily schedule include activities such as circle time, arts & crafts, science, outdoor learning, and centers.  The teachers plan developmental appropiate activities each week.  Circle times in Genesis III involves songs, stories, and finger plays to foster the children's growing language development and introduction to new skills.

 Parents received daily reports about what they did throughout the day via Brightwheel app.  When supplies are needed, this will also be sent via Brightwheel app.  We periodically complete observations about your child to ensure they are meeting their milestones. 

Your toddler will take advantage of our wonderful meals that we serve each day.  If your child has any allergies, please make sure you complete the allergy care plan as well as notate known allergies on admission packet.

Transitioning to Next Class: Throughout the building, we generally transition children all together to the next classroom in late August/beginning of September for the new school year.  Children in Genesis III will transition to Caleb I which is a part of our Preschool Program.

Your child will need: 

• At least 2 complete change of clothes (soiled clothes will be sent home)
• Diapers/Pull Ups
• Wipes
• Diaper Rash Cream (a medical authorization form must to completed to apply)
• Toddler Information Form completed 
• Blanket
